Été 2012: Ville de Québec
During the summer of 2012, I had the most wonderful opportunity to study French abroad in Québec at Université Laval. When I first began looking at study abroad locations, I wanted to choose a program in the south of France, but they were financially out of my reach and unavailable for summer study.
Little did I know that my second choice, Québec would have turned out to be the best program for me. I fell in love with the city, was able to practice my French skills so that I feel more comfortable speaking foreign words, and met amazing people through the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) group. In my Geoblog, I write about some of my experiences; the link to the website is below. I also took many photos while in and around Ville de Québec that help capture some of my experiences. They can be found below.

*Check out my blog for the Summer 2012 CIC program in Québec: Geoblogs Website. One could consider my study abroad entries as a form of public discourse due to its online format and content (Excellence in Communication). Though it's contents aren't strictly academic, online blogs can be an excellent medium for expressing personal experiences and knowledge! Also, I did a little write-up for the College of the Liberal Arts.
